Educational Technology This week in Ed Tech we discussed wiki and other collaboration tools. Its interesting progressing through this book you get to realize all of the different collaboration and interacting tools there are available for teachers. It really does set us up for success depending on how bad we want it. This week we also learned many different features to the smartboard this week which we will be able to use in future classroom. Digital History This week in digital history we only had class two days, we finished our website of digital history day and our continuing to work on our website covering the Mount Union and Ohio Northern football game playing in 2005 which we upset them. This is a very boring class and to be honest we don’t do much I just sit and read different articles on the web. American History We had a quiz this week on Friday on which covered different topics from world war 1. Its unbelievable hearing the situations the military lived through during these times. We really do take for granted how well we have not and because of them. And to think this not that many years ago. Thanks to Mr. Shuck we had another Friday off. Intro to Gis This week we continued to learn more about the software, it’s amazing how much more advanced we are today than we were the first day. Our exercises are getting much more in depth and look so much different. On Thursday she gave us a free day to ask questions about the upcoming exercise which was very helpful and a great way to end the week.

I really liked your picture of the soldiers. The black and white effects really has a dramatic effect on the situation the soldiers were in. I agree with you that these soldiers endured a lot and sometimes we forget about the sacrifices people made in the past that allowed us to get as far as we are now.

The large pictures are a great addition to your blog post! That digital history class sounds odd, but not too challenging. You gave good descriptions of your classes and I like how honest your are about the classes and your opinion of them.

I like how you talked about the conditions that the soldiers in WWI were in. It really helps to give insight about history and what people were going through.

I like how you have so many visuals that tie directly to what you learned in your classes. History always seems so boring to me, so it is really cool to see someone be passionate about it.
